It is one of the tradition industries in Cangzhou, with a history of 1300 years and 1000 companies, and the designed productive capacity is 4 million tons. In 2008 the output of castings is 3 million tons. The casting is used in machinery building, public works, and gardening fields, with 1100 specifications.
Production material: ordinary gray iron, ductile iron, malleable iron, carbon steel, stainless-steel, non-ferrous metals.
Production process: ordinary sand casting, hard mold castings, resin sand molding, melting-modeling, solid-type casting, precision casting.
Automobile mould & die industry is a new developing industry in Cangzhou, based on the developed foundry industry. Now the automobile mould & die companies number 32, and their production accounts 16% of the national market share. These companies own advanced technology and equipment, apply CAD/CAM/CAE software during the processing, be able to accept digital analogy, have the capacity to reverse mapping and design 3D solid mould and die, and supply their products to light-duty trucks, heavy duty trucks, pickup, SUV, SPV, cars OEM.
Up to now, Cangzhou mould & die companies have successfully cooperated with more than 40 Automobile makers such as FAW, DFM, Hafei, Chery, Honda, Ford and so on.
Other mould & die
Now in Cangzhou there are nearly 1600 mould companies producing mainly plastic mould and fittings for metal mould and die. Cangzhou, now is the biggest and highest concentration region of mould building in North China, with more than 500 companies in its mould zone. Companies of Cangzhou have 1200 sets of machining machinery, and produce plastic mould, rubber mould, stamping die, foundry mould, hard alloy mould, glass mould, forging die, precise foundry mold.
