The explored reserve of petroleum is 1.5 billion tons and the natural gas 28.2 billion cubic meters. Now there are 203 petroleum companies producing 4.35 million crude oil and 570 million cubic meters of natural gas every year. The annual output of products is as followings: crude oil processing 14 million tons, polypropylene 300 thousand tons, crude salt 2 million tons, edible salt with iodine 200 thousand tons, caustic soda 170 thousand tons, PVC 300 thousand tons, TDI 30 thousand tons, synthetic ammonia 570 thousand tons, carbamide 800 thousand tons, ammonium bicarbonate 200 thousand tons, phosphate fertilizer and compound fertilizer 500 thousand tons, DSD acid 15000 tons, ranking No.1 of the world, aminoanthraquinones 1300 tons, phthalocyanin 8000 tons, ranking No. 1 in Asia. The production of choline chloride constitutes about 70 percent of the nation’s totality.
